The award, presented in collaboration with the United Nations, recognizes companies that are driving progress towards the UN's Sustainable Development Goals through their work in television and streaming. Secuoya Studios has become a trailblazer in environmentally responsible production practices in Spain, with a slew of initiatives that are making waves in the industry.

The studio has developed a comprehensive approach that includes the Greenbook Sustainable Filming Protocol, created in partnership with eco-consultancy Mrs. Greenfilm. This protocol provides a framework for sustainable production practices that can be adopted by producers and studios around the world.
Another key initiative is the establishment of a Sustainable Management Seal, the first independently audited environmental certification of its kind in Spain. This seal ensures that Secuoya's productions meet rigorous environmental standards, from reducing waste and carbon emissions to promoting eco-friendly transportation and energy-efficient equipment.
And this is the part most people miss: Secuoya Studios has also created a dedicated sustainability department, which assigns an Eco Manager to each production. This ensures that sustainability is integrated into every aspect of the production process, from pre-production to post-production.
